Review of Training Packages and Accredited Courses – Discussion Paper

The Minister for Industry, the Hon Ian Macfarlane MP, is undertaking a full review of training packages and accredited courses in the VET system.

The Review of Training Packages and Accredited Courses Discussion Paper has been released to start the conversation with industry, employers, training providers and students about whether these training packages and accredited courses are meeting their needs and the needs of the Australian economy more generally.

The paper seeks views on a range of possible approaches to addressing the issues that have been raised, and provides examples of alternative models from overseas for consideration.Read More
